I have always used just coconut oil as a deep conditioner in my hair but I love this product more. I put it in my hair when it is dry and go on about my business for about thirty minutes. Then I go take a shower and rinse it out. I find that I don't even have to use conditioner after I rinse it out. It is so much easier to brush after rinsing also. I love how it makes my hair feel for weeks on end. I have naturally knotty hair. I wouldn't call it straight or wavy. Its more of a do what it wants kind of style. When I use this product I notice the difference in my flyaways and also the is to a minimum. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone as it is very versatile with any hair texture.
