Outer material makes cool relief feel kind of like ice in a ziploc with a towel against your skin. Very comforting without being excruciatingly cold. Warm relief makes moisture on the skin from sweat but material makes it absorb on your body so much better than if it were made out of something different. Would highly recommend!
